Making and removing gelish nails (base-color+top)
- Disinfect hands, shape the nails and cuticles and push them back, then wipe the nail with a cleaner or blue scrub liquid.
- Apply a thin layer of base gel laquer or a Vitamine base lacquer from the skin to the edge, as well as over the tip of the nail to close it (never apply the polish to the nail cuticle).
- Let it dry under an UV, CCFL or a LED light (under a 36W UV light let it dry for 2 minutes, under the LED light it depends on it's power but it averages on about 30-60 seconds).
- Remove the gel lacquer residue with a clean dry brush.
- Apply a very thin layer of the colored gel nail polish (gel polish) in the desired color from the skin to the edge as well as over the tip of the nail to close it.
- Let it dry under an UV, CCFL or a LED light (under a 36W UV light let it dry for 2 minutes, under the LED light it depends on it's power but it averages on about 30-60 seconds).
- Again apply a thin layer of colored nail polish (gel polish) and dry it.
- Finally, apply a thin layer of top gel lacquer, Quick Finish shine or a matte top coat from the skin to the edge, as well as the tip of the nail to close it.
- Let it dry under an UV, CCFL or a LED light (under a 36W UV light let it dry for 2 minutes, under the LED light it depends on it's power but it averages on about 30-60 seconds).
- Wipe with a cleaner or cleanser to remove the sticky layer and improve the shine of the nail. Last, apply and massage the cuticle skin oil in the cuticle, which will nourish your natural nails and prevent drying and irritation of the skin.
REMOVAL PROCESS:
- Mattify the upper layer of the top gel polish to remove the shine, soak the cellulose pad into the gel-lacquer remover, place it over the nail and wrap it with an aluminum foil or use a clip and let it set for 10-15 minutes.
- The quickest and easiest way of removal is by means of a steam cleaner in which you pour the gel laquer remover and soak your nail in the liquid for 5 minutes.
- Remove the foil or clip and the celulose pad and gently remove the gel laquer residues with a wooden manicure stick (or pusher). When removing, be careful not to damage your natural nail.
- After removing the gel, gently pile down your natural nail with a buffer with the roughness of 180 to 280, then apply and massage the cuticle skin oil on the cuticles, which will nourish your natural nails and prevent drying and irritation of the skin.
