Fake eyelashes are now an almost necessary fashion accessory, as they emphasize the eyes. Quality materials, professional treatment and the correct choice of their length, curvature and density are important for long-term durability.
The beautiful appearance of the face and eyelashes has been desired throughout the history of mankind. The first beauty treatments with eyelash dyes date back to ancient Egypt. The first procedures for eyelash extensions can be traced back to 1900. In 2000, Japan and Korea began producing modern forms of individual eyelash extensions, which are still used today. Fake eyelashes consist of individual extensions that are glued to an individual eyelash with the help of "medical glue".
All eyelash extensions are made of the same material. This material is a plastic-synthetic fiber called PBT (Polybutylene Terephthalate). There are many products on the market that manufacturers promote under the labels “mink” and “silk”, but they are not really made of different materials, but are all made of the same synthetic material.
There are also lashes made of natural animal fur on the market but their look is not as perfect as the look of synthetic lashes. These natural lashes can cause allergies and their curvature cannot be maintained as with synthetic ones made of PBT material.
Also the lashes of our line, BO. LASH are made from an ideal synthetic material for fake eyelashes, developed by the team based on detailed analyzes and numerous tests. BO. LASH lashes are soft to the touch, have excellent resistance, permanent and durable shape of curvature and appropriate length according to the curvature of the lashes, are flexible and look natural and beautiful. When you make extensions on natural lashes, there is no difference, your customers will be satisfied because these are lashes with which it is possible to design elegant and charming eyes.
In the case of eyelashes, we distinguish between the length, thickness of the eyelashes and their curvature and color. Due to the large selection of lashes, you can choose the type of lashes that are most similar to your client's natural lashes. With such a correct choice, you achieve a truly healthy and as natural as possible eye appearance.
Length and thickness of fake eyelashes
Eyelashes with a length of 8 to 14 mm and a thickness of 0.05 to 0.20 are available, this selection is made on the basis of the most common sizes of natural eyelashes.
Curvature of fake eyelashes
The choice of a certain curvature of the lashes (J, B, C, D) depends mainly on the effect you want to achieve with the extension. Each person has different lashes and it is correct to take into account the natural condition of the client's lashes and choose the appropriate length, thickness and curvature of the fake lashes.
- With J and B curvature, the base of the lashes is straight, curved at the tip, gives a very natural look, they achieve greater volume and length (not recommended for clients with straight or downward-pointing lashes).
- At C curvature, the lashes look like natural lashes that we curled with an eyelash curler. They achieve a natural as well as dramatic look (recommended for clients with straight or slightly curled lashes).
- D curvature is also the most curved shape of lashes, with which we achieve a beautiful dramatic effect (recommended for natural and downward-pointing natural lashes).
Eyelash colors
The most common color of eyelash extensions is black or dark brown (these are also the natural colors of clients' eyelashes), and for a more daring look, color and ombre eyelashes are also available, which are used for special occasions.
Laminating or lifting eyebrows and eyelashes
Eyebrow lamination and lash lamination is the same treatment as curling, long-lasting shaping or bio-curling (same marketing names for the same treatment). In the process, we temporarily destroy the protein bonds inside the hair with the help of a lotion (acid) so that we can determine a new direction or shape for them. Then with another lotion (keratin) we take care of protein renewal and hair strength.
